If you’re around these parts much, you know that summer has given me a spring in my step to getting things done outside! From painting the front door and shutters, cleaning the vinyl siding, gardening, and attacking the sun room (here, here, and here), it’s an outdoor frenzy! This is another outdoor project but it allows me to cool my jets a little because it’s a small little change.
It starts with this bright red front door.
And it ends with (or technically begins with again) this little addition.
If you are anywhere on Pinterest, you have probably see a project like this floating around this. When I saw it, I adored it immediately. There are plenty you can buy on Etsy, but if you have a delightful friend with a Cricket or Silhouette machine, you can easily whip up one yourself.
It took a few tries to find the perfect color and font, but this sparkly gold is perfect.
I love how it complements the red but also ties into our living room.
Now that happy red door is even more inviting!
Ooh that’s great!!
Thank you!!
What a great friend to have! LOL!
I totally agree! I’m pretty lucky! Thanks for making this project happen!
Nice font! I really need to get myself a Silhouette machine!
Thank you! It took me forever to get the font right! I need to get myself a Silhouette too. Oh the endless possible projects.
