Hey everyone! Welcome back to another week! Hope everyone had a wonderful long weekend full of sparkling fun! We had a blast relaxing around the house, cooking out, making s’mores with friends, picking 10 pounds of green beans from the garden, and other fun projects.
I also got a new, fun, “little” toy in the form of the Canon T3….which means that I can now take better videos (although I don’t have an external mic yet – working on it).
I thought it would be fun to break in the new camera with the first video house tour I’ve ever done. Let’s get to it!
Behind the Scenes Anecdotes
- The morning I shot this video we had driven to Charlottesville (about an hour away) to buy this camera from a really nice guy on Craigslist. I got the deal of the century. I also couldn’t wait to try out a video!
- The lens with the camera is so nice…but heavy…so I’ll have to condition my arm for longer, no tripod videos.
- I have so many thoughts that I interrupt myself with my randomness. I’ll work on that.
PS – I’ll be at my second Haven conference in Atlanta at the end of this week. [You can see my thoughts on the first one here.] I’ll also be incorporating a visit to my Dad there so I will be away for a little bit. Check in with me on Instagram to see everything I’m up to!
